This is homepagev2, a more laid back homepage than my last one. While the chaos was fun, it was not very accessible, so I hope a more laid back theme achieves that! I'm still decently proud of my old homepage though, do not get me wrong, and I might still update it from time to time!

For basic information, my name is Crow, I use he/she pronouns and am part of a system (even though I don't talk about systemhood much. On that note, however Ebony has her own part of the website that's being worked on, slowly! It's up to her) Anyways, I hope you enjoy your stay!
You've probably heard the tune before - of a webmaster who came to escape the perils of modern social media, and that suits me pretty well! I quit most social media to only have tumblr, but it still wasn't very good for me, and after a short break for a week after halloween 2023 to work on this site, I realized just what a toll tumblr had taken on me. I felt awful that I wasn't doing everything about every single bad thing in the world, and a few friends I had didn't help (that thankfully have changed their ways).
I realized it was putting me in a state that I judged twitter for putting its users in, and with that realization, took a few mutuals contact info, bookmarked the blog for a comic I liked (laika's comet if anyone was wondering), did the password equivalent of throwing your keys straight into the river and left! Needless to say this has been massively positive for my mental state and even if life does has it's ups and downs I still am doing so much better than when I was on tumblr.

Various things I like
most things to do with technology - robots, computers, stories with robots and computers, literally just art with tech in it. i dont know theres something soothing about it to me!! i spent an embarrasingly long amount of time just staring at the way evangelion draws those kinds of things. it fascinates me.
mad rat dead - as you can tell by the fact that my old homepage was based on it! it's a very fun game - from the visual style from the gameplay to the story it's all very charming! I'll try not to spoil much but I love how much the story actually cares about its characters, and they care about eachother! I have no idea how well the translation quality is as a non-japanese speaker, but if i ever do learn how to read it I'm 100% playing the entire game again in japanese because honestly i really want to know if there's some things i missed. 100% recommend to everyone (as long as you can handle cartoon gore and themes of death) but i understand if the $30 pricetag is a bit much for the game it is.
splatoon - I dont have much to say about this one - i'm a pretty recent fan, only picked up splatoon 3 in around may 2023, so i never really got to see alot of "big" things like play octo expansion or see the final fests for the last two games (i also dont have a wii-u, and pretendo on cemu still requires files from the actual console), but i'm a big fan none the less - I'm a huge lore nerd, and it gives me alot of things to think about and thus overthink about!
portal - oooo its like they made a game just for me. im too tired to elaborate further people werent kidding this really is one of the best game series of all time. im too tired to describe why i like it, so refer back to my points about robots!
